The Symbols of GD&T

Chap book assignment

For this assignment I had to create a chap book about an interest of mine. As someone who was previously a drafting engineer, I have had to work with many different symbols. One set of symbols that I had to use frequently was the symbols of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). For this book I chose to make a small guide on these symbols. The layout is simple and consistent across the pages, showing the symbol on one side and the name and description on the other side. I also had fun with the Headers and designed each to have a reference to what it is for.
